Diodora suprapunicea Otuka, 1937
Description
Pale brown with brown radial bands and thin brack radial bands. Thick, radial
riblets and growth rings formed reticulations.
Locality
Japan: Off Choshi, Awa Onjuku, Mouth of Tokyo Bay in 20m, Shikoku, Kyushu,
North of Yamaguchi.

Remarks
It had been said that D. suprapunicea was the rare shell which was
able to pick up on the beach.
Scientific name is connected to Geologist Yanosuke Ohtsuka.
