Calliostoma problematicus

Description
Pearly pale yellowish brown with granular spiral ribs near the suture. Resembles Calliostoma akoya gold type, but top of the shell colored by purplish brown and brown bloch on the spire.

Locality
Japan: Sagami Bay in 250-300m, Mouth of Tokyo Bay in 250-300m.

Remarks
Calliostoma problematicus can be found at shallower depths than Calliostoma akoya, but rare.
