Description
Pearly brown or pearly pale brown, sometimes with brown splotches. Spire inflated and
ornamented with granular spiral ribs which colored by white ane brown bloch. Pale brown
bottom ornamented with fine spiral ribs.
Locality
Japan: Kii Peninsula,
Sagami Bay,
Mouth of Tokyo Bay in 30-50m,
Off Choshi.

Remarks
The shape of Calliostoma levibasis resembles
C. consors, but with
rounded shoulders and periphery. While the habitat of C. levibasis is
similar to that of C. consors,
C. levibasis is much rarer.
