Description
White, light brown or orange with translucent shoulder spines and lamellar axial ribs. Resembles Nipponotrophon gorgon, but having one of spiral rib between shoulder and suture.

Locality
Off Taiwan.
Japan: Off Tosa Bay
, Sagami Bay in 250-300m, Mouth of Tokyo Bay in 250-300m, Off Choshi.

Remarks
The orange color of this shell fades slowly. My specimen turned a pale brown over the course of about ten years.
